Tomorrow is TWLOHA Day (to write love on her arms)
Please join in for a great cause, and write love on your arms!
We can't all be heroes because somebody has to sit on the curb and clap as they go by.
If we all through our problems into one big pile
and seen everybody elses, we'd grab ours back.
They don't know that we know, they know, we know.
Somebody should have told you it never comes easy.
Somebody should have told you that there's no guarantees.
And that you lose it all when you stop dreaming.
(See it kids!)
And please don't leave me here,
All alone, and in fear.
I don't think I have a single tear,
To shed for you my dear.
[me]
There's a lot we could achieve,
But I know you're set to leave.
So when you see me here to grieve,
I'll pin my heart to your sleeve.
[me]
I'm standing here in the rain,
Living with all this guilt and pain.
I think I may have gone insane,
On this crazed, fanatic train.
[me]
We're headed off to a better start,
To fix what's left of a fractured heart.
You're one great work of art,
It saddens me to part.
[me]
So, what are we supposed to do when the
right things go wrong?
Time passes, even if it seems impossible.
Even when each tick of the second hand aches like the pulse of blood behind a bruise.
It passes unevenly, in strange lurches and dragging lulls. But, pass it does.
You're only sorry 'cause you got caught, and you're never happy
'cause you think you're not. And a story's no good without a thickening plot.
So when the water finally settled, you stirred it up. You fucked it up.
We scream our insecurities, and mutter our apologies.
And that's why this world will always be so wrong.
Thanks for reading. :]
